Next stages...the fit...

My 5'8" friend came over tonight to try on the stole and help me with the fitting. I received one other important measurement today--the robe that this stole will be worn over is 51" in back length. Pamela's dress in these pictures is 52". So, I'm able to shorten it from the shoulder and I've decided that I will round the hem. I'm ready to go now...should be finished this week!
The ordination is May 10 so this will be plenty of time. Whew! Long distance fitting is challenging!

  3. Hello Janet. Our daughter, for whom this stole was made, has moved to Savannah, Georgia recently and joined the staff of Isle of Hope United Methodist Church. Recently she wore this stole and when everyone saw it they were immediately drawn to the beautiful colors. Even though it has been 8 years, Chrissy explained that this tie belonged to her dad, an uncle, a mentor, a former boss and so on and so on. She remembered the importance each one had played in her life. Everyone loved it. So thankful we found you and grateful for the talents God has given you.

  4. Recently our daughter has moved to Savannah, Georgia and joined the staff of Isle of Hope United Methodist Church. Several Sundays ago she wore her stole and everyone was immediately drawn to the beautiful colors and unique design. Chrissy pointed out various ties and who had donated them and the special part they had played in her life. Everyone loved it. Even though it has been eight years since she received it, she still values the thoughtfulness and careful work which you took in creating this special piece of art. We are so glad we found you and grateful for the talents God has given you. Barbara
