The green, blue-green, and purple strips of necktie were stitched in swooping lines around the heart and then up towards the shoulders.
You can see that I piece most of the fronts and part of the back before cutting up the centre to separate the panels.
Tomorrow I'll make and attach the piping and lining.

Not only are you a gifted artist, but your intuitive ability to recreate visually what someone else is trying to convey verbally, is a gift unto itself.
My ordination is the culmination of a very long, sometimes arduous, spiritual journey. As I watch my stole come alive, I feel as though I'm watching my ministry coming alive as well.
I am so delighted that I will be taking you and your energy with me to many, many sacred occasions.
